First Day of the 13th Asean Military Operation Meeting in 2023, Runs Safely and Smoothly

After the arrival of the delegates yesterday, today (Sunday, 4 June 2023) all delegates carried out the activities of the first day of the 13th Asean Military Operation Meeting (AMOM) in 2023 in the Province of Bali.

The activity, which was led directly by the Assistant Operations Commander of the TNI, Major General TNI Muhammad Nur Rahmad, began with a Bilateral and Secretary Meeting which was divided into four rooms which were held in rotation, discussing plans for future training activities between Indonesia and ASEAN countries.

At the end of the Bilateral and Secretary Meeting activities, plaques and coins were handed over from the Operations Assistant to the TNI Commander to all delegates involved in the 13th Asean Military Operation Meeting (AMOM) activities in 2023.

Entering the afternoon, all delegations from ASEAN countries carried out Culture Day activities, by driving VW vehicles in tandem to tourist venues, including Pandawa Beach, Melasti Beach and Garuda Wisnu Kencana Culture Park. Until evening, it was continued with a Welcome Dinner at Sofitel Hotel and Resort.

Regarding this activity, Kodam IX/Udayana was ready and guaranteed the safety of the Delegates. In this case, the Patwal Coordinator from Pomdam IX/Udayana was led by Wadandenpom IX/3 Denpasar Major Cpm Herdy Soediro, who played an important role in managing the security of escorts during Culture Day so that it went according to plan.

In practice, the security section was divided at several points, starting from escorting the convoy to securing traffic at each place visited by the delegation. During carrying out activities, all elements of security and support carry out their duties and responsibilities in accordance with the sections and posts that have been divided. (Pendam IX/Udy)
